Hand Printed Elephant Bag
The elephant and geometric designs on these shoulder bags were block-printed by hand. This hand-printed fabric is called kalamkari and it was handmade by artisans from Andhra Pradesh in India.
The fabric is printed with all natural dyes and the process to produce it is lengthy, requiring approximately 15 different steps, but the end result produces a textile in brilliant earth tones that can be made into beautiful handbags and scarves. Traditional yet contemporary and stylish, perfect for your day out in the city!
